Charlie is so happy to be playing a residency at the Argyle Cellar Bar in Edinburgh performing a solo show he has put together called The Memphis Music Story. The night will take you on a live listening tour through the rich musical history of his hometown, performing songs by WC Handy, BB King, Otis Redding and many more. As you all know, born and raised in Memphis, Charlie toured the world with legendary bluesman Albert King and played a nightly residency on Beale Street for over 15 years. There’s never a bad night at one of Charlie’s shows, but here at Team Charlie we’ve always thought there’s something extra special about those solo moments where it’s just Charlie and the piano.
